Hey Everyone!
I know I haven't written in a LONGGGGG time but some things go by the waist side sometimes.
What can I say..lol
OK well, I wanted to talk about when you book YOUR makeup artist for YOUR wedding or special occasion.
COMMUNICATION is KEY!
The most important thing you can do at a trial is to communicate what and how YOU want YOUR makeup to look like on the day of your wedding. No one is a mind reader and or a magician..
Well, maybe there's a little magic involved....
When the trial is completed tell your makeup artist how YOU really feel. YOUR not there for us to practice on you, YOU are there to finalize one of the most important details for YOUR wedding day.
Maybe your artist can tweak some small detail or change the color of a shadow and that's all YOU needed to see YOUR vision come to fruition.
Think about it, YOU have the undivided attention of a makeup professional if not, Master, ( with 10,000 hrs under his/her belt) use YOUR time wisely. Not to mention, trial costs can add up.
YOU are not going to hurt our feelings, believe me, it's more frustrating when we can't make YOU happy! DO NOT leave your concerns for the last minute, COMMUNICATE with the makeup artist so anything in question could be ironed out before the big day.
Most makeup artists have contracts, hopefully, but this document is in place for YOUR protection and theirs.
Read the contract and be clear on your agreement.
Have Beautiful Day ! xx
